Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. This is the DOS port of SNES9x.

ZSNES Dos v1.51
This is the fastest SNES emulator in existance. It features all SNES screen modes, as well as add/sub transparencies in 16 bit graphics mode (VESA2 support is required), mosaic effects, Super FX emulation (Star Fox, etc), DSP1 emulation (Mario Kart, etc), real time saving, and a really great GUI which lets you configure the emulator to your heart's content. This is the DOS port of ZSNES.

This is a newer but beta, early development release of ZSNES. This is the fastest SNES emulator in existance.
